Ekansh in collaboration with DRDF (Disability Research and Design Foundation ) and Bal Kalyan Sanstha announce:
THE BARRIER FREE DESIGN COMPETITION for STUDENTS OF ARCHITECTURE in PUNE.
This contest is open only to students in Pune and the final awards ceremony is on the 7th of August at the seminar – “No Disabilities, Infinite Possibilities”. The judges will be established architects with academic and practical experience in Barrier Free Design. The prize money of 25,000/- Rupees will be awarded to the best design at the seminar. All details about the seminar are available on www.ekansh.org.
BARRIER FREE DESIGN is architecture and design, keeping in mind the needs of the disabled and elderly. This competition and seminar have been organized to create awareness among today’s students and youth about their roles in our movement towards a more INCLUSIVE world.
Last dates for entries is 20th July, 2009. The details of the competition have been made available to the colleges and those who have not received them and are interested may email us at info@ekansh.org immediately
